The West Palatinate region
The West Palatinate is located in southwestern Germany on the border with France. It comprises the cities of Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens, and Zweibrücken, as well as the districts of Südwestpfalz, Kusel, Donnersbergkreis, and Kaiserslautern.
Surrounded by the Rhine-Main and Rhine-Neckar metropolitan regions, the Saarland, and France, major hubs such as Frankfurt, Mannheim, Karlsruhe, and Saarbrücken are all within an hour’s reach.
