The Otterberg Natural Outdoor Pool, fed by a pure spring, charms visitors with its natural, rustic charm. With 5,000 square meters of water, both swimmers and non-swimmers can enjoy themselves in separate pools. Water play equipment, a diving tower, and a large sunbathing lawn make it a popular destination on hot summer days from June through August.

Zweibrücken Outdoor Pool

On warm summer days, residents of Zweibrücken gather at the outdoor pool on the banks of the Schwarzbach to cool off. When the weather is cooler, the heated pool offers a pleasant swim, after which visitors can grab a snack at the kiosk.

Waldmohr Heated Outdoor Pool

Three pools guarantee plenty of water fun here from May through September. The swimming pool with a separate diving area is very popular among competitive and recreational swimmers. The splash pool and non-swimmer pool with a large slide, on the other hand, are the perfect place for young and old alike to play, splash around, and let off steam. The spacious sunbathing lawn offers plenty of room for rest and relaxation.

Bruchmühlbach-Miesau Forest Heated Outdoor Pool

Whether in the water or on land, visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities here from May through September. Three separate pools – including a toddler pool, a non-swimmer pool, and a sports pool with an integrated adventure/wellness pool – provide the perfect way to cool off. A wide wave slide and diving boards/towers guarantee the ultimate swimming fun. A playground, a beach volleyball court, and a large sunbathing lawn round out the amenities.

Trippstadt Heated Outdoor Pool

With 2,000 square meters of water surface area spread across two pools, this facility invites visitors to swim, splash around, or play from May through September. The swimming pool isn’t just for lap swimming; the separate diving tower and area are also very popular. A large slide at the non-swimmer pool guarantees even more fun in the water.

With a lap pool, a recreational pool featuring a lazy river and water slide, diving platforms, and a wading pool, there’s something for everyone. Out of the water, little adventurers can let off steam on the large lawn, complete with a play ship and playground. A volleyball court is also available for additional athletic activities.

Eisenberg Forest Swimming Pool

An outdoor pool almost entirely surrounded by forest. Thanks to its wide range of recreational activities, it is considered one of the most beautiful public recreational facilities in the Eisenberg area. In addition to various pools with a variety of features, the facility also offers plenty of fun and games outside the water – such as a mini-golf course.

Waschmühle Kaiserslautern

Germany’s largest contiguous swimming pool – the Waschmühle in Kaisers-lautern. Affectionately known as the “Wesch” by locals, this iconic 7,200-square-meter outdoor pool attracts a large number of visitors to the Eselsbach Valley well into September. While the unheated, lightly chlorinated water provides a refreshing dip, the 25,000-square-meter sunbathing lawn invites visitors to soak up the sun.

Kaiserslautern Heated Outdoor Pool

A municipal outdoor pool located east of Volkspark. Competitive swimmers have access to eight 50-meter lanes. Other amenities include a separate non-swimmer pool with a slide, a baby wading pool, a 10-meter diving tower with a separate diving pool, a playground, and a beach volleyball court.

A diving area and a non-swimmer zone with a giant slide and a swing bay border the 50-meter-long swimming pool. Together with the wading pool, they guarantee swimming fun for young and old from May through September. Sunbathing lawns and a volleyball court round out the amenities.
