Bremerhof

Thanks to its location in the heart of the Palatinate, the Bremerhof near Kaisers-lautern is a popular destination for day trips. It is situated south of the city of Kaiserslautern in the Stiftswald forest and can be reached on foot or by car. It is

one of the city’s oldest settlements and attracts many weekend visitors. Numerous beautiful hikes are possible from here. The Bremerhof was first mentioned in historical records as early as 1215. Since then, it has been run by many generations. In addition to the restaurant with a lovely beer garden (featuring a rustic alpine hut during the winter months), the Bremerhof also features a forest playground with a slide, swings, and a climbing frame, as well as a pasture with various animals.

Café Unterhammer

Housed in the former ironworks in Karlstal near Trippstadt, Café Unter-hammer offers a wonderful setting for a delicious meal or refreshment. Whether you’re taking a break during a hike through Karlstal, hosting a private celebration, or holding a business meeting – anything is possible at Unterhammer.
The venue also occasionally hosts various art, music, and culinary events that are always worth a visit.

Kupper Hotel and Restaurant

It’s no surprise that the family-run Hotel Kupper received an award in a culinary competition. Nestled in the Palatinate Forest Nature Park, not far from the imposing Altschlossfelsen cliffs, it is already very popular simply because of its location. The large beer garden, covering about 2,000 square meters of lawn, offers approximately 120 cozy seats, complemented by a rustic hunting lodge. An e-bike charging station is available on-site for cyclists, and e-charging stations for cars are also available.
