You can learn more about this at the Diamond Cutter Museum and along the five trails of the “Walkable History Book.” This includes the approximately 18-kilometer-long “Diamond Cutter Trail.” It also passes by the mine tunnel of the Brücken coal mine, which – although not accessible – offers interesting insights into times past via an information board. At the Diamond Cutter Museum in Brücken, you can learn more about this precious gemstone, its processing, and the diamond industry in general, as well as the significance of this craft for the region and its surroundings. Among other things, six original workstations are on display, illustrating the various stages of development in the craft over time and in terms of technology.
