Herzogplatz
The Herzogplatz in Zweibrücken is lined with impressive Baroque buildings, which today house, among other things, the city administration. Its location on the Schwarzbach stream and the adjacent Hallplatz square with the King Ludwig Fountain makes it a beautiful spot for photographs.

Mehlinger Heide
The Mehlinger Heide area was originally used as a military training ground. It was only after the withdrawal of the French armed forces that the present-day, very biodiverse nature reserve, one of the largest heathlands in southern Germany, came into being.
